There are crates scattered all over the city which contains bonuses, such as a get out of jail free card or new weapons. You can go everywhere in the city and steal almost every car (also trains and tanks). You get different jobs to do, like stealing cars, helping out at a bank job or killing someone. You start in one of the three US cities in the game.
